Manawatu Championships Dominion Special Service. Palmerston North, July 4. -Arrangements for tho forthcoming Manawatu amateur championships were made at the meeting of the Manawatu Boxing Association last evening, Mr. Earle R, Wimaett presided. tjorrespondence was received from many Australian boxers stating their willingness to compete in matches under the auspices of the Manawatu assoclation. J receipt of a lengthy circular from tho Whangarei Boxing Association setting forth the merits of the purse v. percentage problem a s it affected the smaller associations, the delegates t 0 the New Zealand conference, wore instructed to support the percentage on the net profits
