Politics of Action Party Paris, June 18. ' “Le Journal’s” special correspondent at Rome interviewed Signor Mussolini and asked what was the exact point of friction between the Church and State. ' ■ Signor Mussolini replied: “At the head of the Catholic Actionists are failures and disgruntled members of the old Popular Party, who have a grudge against us over the orientation of their policy. , "The Vatican has been put on its . guard, against the peril of this extreme policy, which may awaken anti-clerical-ism, the dormant existence of which the Vatican well knows.”
