Destination Mistaken HUMOROUS SITUATION By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, J tine 18. Two students of the State Teachers’ College at San Jose, California, arrived in New Zealand last night, though they never intended to come. They are Thomas Vance and William North. The students went to Los Angeles ami saw the Swedish motor-ship Bullaren, which they were informed was going to San Francisco, twenty hours away. They stowed away in the engine* room, and were discovered eight hours’ late:. Then they found that the ship was bound for Auckland. They say that fortunately the captain and the whole crew saw the humour of the situation. They will be sent back by another vessel.
