VARIABLE WEATHER
Much Rain Over Week-end After rain on Friday night the weather cleared on Saturday, but further rain fell Jate on Saturday night. Yesterday was fine, wiQi occasional bursts of feeble sunshine, but towards evening rain again set The weather was generally wet over the week-end at Auckland. The weather at Christchurch on Saturday was sunny and warm, but yesterday it was grev and cold, with light showers during the afternoon. The barometer was rising steadily, the reading being 29.95. It was. sunny and calm at Dunedin on Saturday, the maximum temperature being 55 degrees. A light drizzle fell during most of yesterday, but the temperature was mild, and there was no wind.
