NAPIER COMMISSION
Rehabilitation Purposes PERSONNEL ANNOUNCED By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland. May 20. The personnel of the Napier Rehabilitation Commission was announced by the Prime Minister, the Rt. lion. G. ML Forbes, to-day, as follows: — Mr. J. S. Barton (chairman). Mr. ML G. Sherratt, Gisborne. Mr. Ernest H. M’right, M’anganui. Mr. Geo. Shirtcliffe, M’ellington. Mr. M’m. Waddell, C.8.E., Wellington. Mr. J. S. Barton, S.M., formerly resident magistrate in M’ellington, has been granted leave to become a member of the Commission in charge of affairs in the earthquake area, and has been at work in Napier for some time. Mr. Sherratt is a well-known Gisborne sheep-farmer, and has been mayor of Gisborne. , Mr. G. Shirtcliffe is a prominent Wellington business man. and chairman of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research.
Mr. ML M’addell is superintendent of the State Advances Department. Mr. E. H. M’right. F.P.A. (N.Z.). F.N.A.A.. is a consulting accountant and a business organiser in Wanganui.
