OPENING THIS EVENING
New Radio Station 2ZW
Although the new radio station 2ZW has been on the air for some days now, the official opening will take place this evening at 7.39. The ceremony will be performed* by the Mayor, Mr. T. C. A. Hislop, and will be his first public function. A message from the Prime Minister will be read by the Minister of Education, Hon. IT. Atmore. Mr. R. H. Nimmo will also speak. Following the opening n musical programme, which has been arranged by Mr. 11. F. Wood, will be presented.
