Denial of Flight Rumours
Providence (R. 1. May 6.
The Australian airman, Mr. Bert Hinkler, arrived at Pawtucket on Wednesday afternoon from Buffalo. According to a New York message, Mr. Hinkler has denied reports that he is en route for Buenos Aires and Africa. “You see, whenever I take the plane off the ground, they get the idea I must be going 'somewhere. It I haven’t decided where I’m going, they decide it for me. I’m not in a position at this time to make any statement about my plans.”
