Vice-Regal. The Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe, and Lady Bledisloe, arrived at Auckland yesterday, and went into residence at Government House. The Vice-Regal party included Lady Nora Jellicoe, who is the guest of Lord and Lady Bledisloe. Ministerial. The Right Hon. G. W. Forbes. Prime Minister, returned to Wellington yesterday after a short visit to his home at Cheviot. The Hon. A. J. Stallworthy. Minister of Health, who arrived in Wellington from Auckland on Wednesday morning, returned by train the same evening. The Hon. E.' A. Ransom, Minister of Lands, left last night on an extensive tour of the North Island developmental schemes being undertaken by the Government. He will be away for about a week.

The Hon. R. Masters. Minister without portfolio, returned to Wellington from Stratford last evening. The Hon. J. B. Donald, PostmasterGeneral, is expected to return to Wellington from Auckland about next Monday. The Hon. P. A. de la Perrelle. who is at his home at Winton, Southland, is expected to return to Wellington in a few days’ time. The Hon. A. J. Murdoch, Minister of Agriculture, left last night for Whanghrei.

Mr. E. Nordern, Stratford, is at the Grand Hotel.

Major R. W. Hannah, Southampton, and Captain H. S. Hilton, Auckland, are at the Hotel St. George. Mr. Robert Bell, of Timaru, is spending a few days in Wellington and is a guest at the Midland Hotel.

Mr. W. G. Wohlmann, Commissioner of Police, arrived in Wellington from the north by the Limited express yesterday. Mr. Hugo Freeth, of the literary staff of the “Sydney Morning Herald,” is on a short visit to New Zealand, and is spending a few days in Wellington.

Mr. T. Reynolds and Mr. P. F. Hodgson. Auckland : Mr. H. Dobbs, Nelson ; Mr. P. Hunter, Porangahau ; and Mr. C. Hunter. Dannevirke, are at the Royal Oak Hotel. Mr. R. A. Singer, well known in legal circles in Auckland, and a prominent member of the Auckland Savage Club, is giving up his Auckland practice shortly, nnd will follow his profession in Sydney. Mr. J. de Winter and Mr. G. W. Archbold, Christchurch; Mr. J. M. Hussey and Mr. G. Marshall, Wanganui; Mr. 11. Goldinghnm. Palmerston North: Mr. T. S. Withers, Auckland : Mr. J. W. Picot. Melbourne; and Mr. L. Learoyd, London, are at the Hotel St. George.
