Addressing Manawatu dairy farmers yesterday, Mr. A. M. Perredes, of Jersey Island, said that it was not generally known that a large part of the island’s revenue was accrued from the sale of potatoes. In 1929, 63,777 tons of potatoes of a value of £367,921 were exported, while last year’s export was also a heavy one. In addition, last year 20,000 tons of tomatoes, 100 tons of flowers, and 50 tons of apples were exported. ' WOODS’ GREAT PEPPERMINT CURB First aid for Coughs, Colds, Influenza—Advt.
