UNEMPLOYMENT LEVY
Failures to Register
PROSECUTIONS BEGIN Men who have failed to register for the purposes of the unemployment levy are being proceeded against by the Labour Department. The first two Wellington cases of this nature have been set down for hearing in the Magistrate’s Court, and others will follow. This is also being done in other parts of the Dominion.
Similar action is being taken in regard to firms who have unregistered men in their employment.
