BURNED TO GROUND
Hotel Near Masterton

Mastertoil, May 7. The Blairlogie Hotel, a two-story wooden structure in the Tinui district, about 16 miles from Masterton, was burned to tile ground this afternoon. The fire apparently started upstairs, but the enuse is unknown. The flames spread rapidly and owing to the absence of water it was impossible to control them. 1 . „ , The licensee is Mr. F. McKellar and the owner Mr. T. Dwan, of Wellington.
