Instead of pink and black images, which some seem to find objectionable, the latest television development from the De Forest laboratories is black and white pictures, produced by a new type of gasfilled, high-responsive source of white light. Not only are these pictures said to be more realistic, but, due to the greater contrast between shadows and high lights, far better detail is obtained.
