i Montreal, May 5. Strangler Lewis lost the world’s wrestling championship because he bit his French opponent, Henri Deglane. A huge crowd saw Lewis apply three crushing headlocks. The Frenchman turned the tables and applied a flying mare and secured a fa 11... Lewis later secured a fall, but Deglane, displaying a bleeding arm with teeth marks, was awarded the match and the title on a foul.
