50 Yards Record Broken

Walter Jarvis, at the public baths, broke the New Zealand junior boys’ record for 50 yards held by Reg. Geddes. Jarvis covered the distance in 27Jsec,. Geddes’s tinle was 28 2-ssee.
According to Hittite Inscriptions found in Mesopotamia, horse-racing was a popular sport more than 3300 years ago.
