Man Dies in Hospital
RUGBY ST. ACCIDENT
Severe Head Injuries
Knocked down by a tramcar in Rugby Street at about 4.45 yesterday afternoon, Walter Young, labourer, died later in Wellington Hospital.
He received head injuries from the accident. Almost immediately after it had occurred the Free Ambulance was summoned, and removed the injured man to the hospital, where he died at 6.45 p.m., two hours after the accident. It is understood that deceased was employed by the City Corporation. He was 61 years of age. His home address could not be obtained last night.
