NEGLIGENT DRIVING CASE

Dismissal of Charge Dominion Special Service. rahnerston North, April 29. The charge against Alexander Dickson of negligently driving a motor-car on February 15 at Waikanae, thereby causing the death of William Edward Tudor was dismissed. The case was heard at the Otaki Court before Messrs. G. H. Harper. J.P., and 11. Nicholson, J.P. Mr. Parry, who appeared for accused, contended that the evidence for the prosecution was not sufficient to send his client to the Supreme Court for trial. There was no evidence of negligent driving, and he maintained that the evidence given was in Dickson’s favour.
