Heavy Boxing Contest REFEREE STOPS BOUT By Telegraph.—Press Associatlun. Invercargill, April 27. Alan Campbell, heavyweight champion (12st. Glb.j, of Timaru, knocked out Fred Larby (Bluff), ex-Navy champion, in two rounds in a professional contest to-night. Larby was no match for Campbell, who scored freely with both hands. A left hook to the jaw early in the second round dropped Larby for nine, and the referee almost immediately stopped the fight.
