Manor Park Championship The Easter championship of the Manor Park club, which was delayed by floods at Easter, was finalised during the weekend. The matches resulted as under;— First round: Burns beat Butler, 3 and 2; Brockett beat Herd, 1 up; Mehaffey beat Page, 2 and 1; Murray beat narrower, 5 and 4. Second round : Brockett beat Mehaffey, 4 and 3; Murray beat Burns, 5 and 4. In the final Murray beat Brockett, 1 up. The game was very keenly contested, the issue being in doubt right up to the last green. , ' A 36-hole stroke competition was also •played, the winner, V.
