“TRELAWNY OF THE WELLS”
“Trelawny of tho Wells,” the concluding production of the National Repertory Society for the year 1930-31. will open its season to-night gt the Y.W.C.A. Hall, BouL cott Street. The play is the most ambitious effort of the society, and is possibly the biggest undertaking that has been attempted by any amateur company of players in rhe Dominion. The costumes are exceedingly beautiful, the settings arc novel, and there will be special lighting effedts. The specially selected cast will be headed by Miss Helen Gard’ner as Trelawny, and Mr. E. S. Baldwin as Sir William Gower. The preparation is under the direction of Mr. W. S. Wauchop. The box plan is at the Bristol and early booking is essential.
