EASTBOURNE COUNCIL
Mr. S. F. Fisher Mayor The following are the nominations for the Eastbourne Borough Council:— Mayor: Mr. Sam F. Fisher (elected unopposed). Borough Council (eight seats): Ernest Norman Battersby, William Francis Hornig, Margaret Magill, Charles Arthur Rendle, John Frederick Rockstrow, Douglas Todd, Arthur Varney, Archibald Walker, Edward Wellesley Wise. The nomination of Mr. S. G. Shearer was received too late. Mr. A. Walker, was returned unopposed to the Eastbourne seat on the Hutt Valley Electric Power Board.
