CLUB ENTERTAINED
The Wellington Aliiiiieipnl Croquet Club was entertained b.v Airs. A. A. Clarke, the president, at a successful end of the Season party. The team table was decorated with flowers in the club colours. The prize-winners for the season are its follow: —“A" champion, Airs. Caldow; runner-up. Airs. Alanton ; intermediate, Airs. Talbot; rUhnef-up, Airs. Perkins; “B” grade, Afiss Clark; runner-up,. Afiss Bates; "C” grade, Airs. A'icCoaker; handicap doubles, Airs. Taibot and Miss Chirk; runners-up. Airs. Rickard and Airs. Bailie. Airs. Alanton also won the Sullivan Brooch outright (having won it three years in succession). Alisa AVhitiiig won Mrs. Ramsay’s trophy for the most improved flayer.
