READY FOR TROUBLE
Farmers Arrive at Sale SERVICES NOT REQUIRED (Rec. March IS, 9 p.m.) Sydney, March 18. An Albury message states that as a sequel to the recent determination of the Rand farmers to resist the selling up of any of their number for default was the massing of about 200 men where a sale was advertised to take place. Horsemen went from farm to farm telling every man that he was required to attend the sale and assist, if the occasion demanded, in preventing one of their number from being made a victim. The ready response proved that the farmers were in earnest in their intention to resist forced sales. The auctioneer, however, did not put in an appearance, and the men dispersed, resolving to return if needed.
