TO-NIGHT’S RADIO
“Ketelbey” Programme at 2YA “A Night with Ketelbey” will be the programme at 2YA this evening. It will be provided by the Wellington Commercial Travellers and Warehousemen’s Association orchestra, under the conductorship of Mr. J. F. Woodward. There will be supplementary vocal numbers by Miss K. McIvor (soprano) and Mr. A. I. Murray (baritone). ... . Featured on 3YA’s programme will be Professor R. C. Zimmermann, of Christchurch, whose violin solos will be played to orchestral accompaniment. The vocal portion of the programme will be provided by the Melodious Quartet. A number of ducts and solos will also be sung, several of them having orchestral accompaniment. A varied orchestral programme will be provided by the Studio Octet.
