POSTAL BOXES CLEARANCE
Some time ago, at the instigation of people in Petone, representation was made to the Postmaster-General to have early clearances of postal boxes in certain streets of the borough carried out. A three months’ trial was agreed upon. Advice has been received by Mr. Walter Nash, M.P., from the PostmasterGeneral that as the result of that trial it had been decided to continue the clearance permanently.
