12,000-MILE VOYAGE
Bottle Found in Harbour ENGLAND TO WELLINGTON Swept about by the tides for many mouths, a bottle retrieved from Wellington Harbour recently had come from England and had travelled 12,000 miles. The bottle was picked up by Mr. A. M. Viguir, a fisherman, just inside the Wellington Heads, toward the end of 1930. In it he found a note stating that Mr. Gordon Hunt, the son of. a Bath butcher, had thrown Ihe bottle into the River Avon at Bath. He communicated with Mr. Hunt, who now replied confirming the statement made on the sea-water damaged piece of paper inside the bottle.
