MIST AND LIGHT RAIN
Yesterday’s Weather The skies in Wellington yesterday were overcast all day. A thick mist hung low over the hills and light rain fell occasionally. The wind was from the n °There was a light westerly wind and dull cloudy weather at Auckland, lhe barometer was falling and registered at Christchurch was fine, with a good deal of cloud and a smart shower about 3 p.m. The maximum temperature was 61 degrees, a moderate north-east wind having an edge to it. The barometer was falling, the reading limt evening being 29.65. The weather was unsettled at Dunedin. Fairly heavy showers were experienced during the morning and conditions .in the afternoon were overcast. The wind was light from the south-west and the maximum temperature was 60 degrees. The barometer fell the day and last evening registered 29.7t>.
