Saturday’s Play The champion of ehampions croquet tournament was continued on the Wellington and Kelburn greens on Saturday. Following are the results: — A grade, final: Mrs. Caldow won the third game of the rubber, 26—6, against Mrs. Walker. . Intermediate grade—First life: Mrs. Rudkin beat Mrs. Cleary, 26—10; Mrs. Veitch beat Mrs. Bush, 26—14; Mrs. Richards beat Mrs. Rudkin, 26—21; Mrs. Harper beat Mrs. Veitch, 2S—B. Second life: Mrs. Harper beat Mrs. Passmore, 20 —0; Mrs. Harper beat Mrs. Phillips, 26 —-2. B grade—First life: Mrs. Howatson beat Mrs. Ross, 26—10. Second life: Mrs, McGowan beat Mrs. Lewis, 26—17; Mrs. Howatson beat Mrs. Murphy, 26—20. The draw for to-day’s play at Kelburn is as follows: —Intermediate grade, 10 am.: Mrs. Veitch v. Mrs. Rudkin; 11 a.m., Mrs. Richards v. Mrs. Harper. B grade, 10 a.m.: Miss Clark v. Mrs. Barker. The pegged-out game, Mrs. Deare v. Mrs. Howatson, will be resumed at 10 a.m., the winner meeting Mrs. Ridley. In the intermediate grade Mrs. Harper has two lives, Mesdames Richards, Veitch and Rudkin one life- each. In the B grade, Mrs. Howatson has two lives, and Mesdames Ridley, Barker, Deare, and Miss Clark one each. The final in both these grades is the best of three games.
