International Rugby Title (Rec. March 15, 5.5 p.m.) London. March 14. Wales beat Ireland by 15 points to 3 in the Rugby international played at Belfast. Wales thus wins the international championship, which it has not held since 1922. Champion English County (Rec. March 15, 5.5 p.m.) London, March 14. In the Rugby county championship final Gloucestershire defeated Warwickshire by 10 points to 9. The matcb was played at Gloucester. Results of other county games were as follow :~Army defeated Richmond, 10 —5; Bradford lost to Blackheath, 6—13; the Coventry-R.A.F. match was cancelled ; the Gloucester-Bristol match was not played; Harlequins drew with Old Merchant Taylors, 15 —15; London Scottish defeated United Services. 16— 6; Newport defeated Swansea, 19—3; Northampton defeated Bath, 9—3; Plymouth Albion lost to Cardiff. 8 —23; Edinburgh Academicals lost to Watsonians, 7 —14; Glasgow Acas lost to Hawjck. 13—21; Rosslyn Park lost to Birkenhead Park, 5—6; St. Bart.’s lost to London Irish. 3—10; Pontypool and Cross Keys drew, no score.
