ANNUAL SPORTS

Hutt Valley Schools KEEN RIVALRY The third annual sports meeting of the Hutt Valley Primary Schools Amateur Athletic Association was held, under glorious weather conditions yesterday on the Lower Hutt Recreation Ground. From 10 in the morning until 4 in the afternoon girls and boys representing 16 schools in the Valley competed in friendly rivalry. This year the net proceeds were devoted to the earthquake relief fund, and as the result of the meeting £l2 will be handed over. ' Eastern Hut won the Hutt Valley championship for 1931, with Hutt Central second, and Petone West third.
