0.P.5.0. POSTAGE Sir, —I think that those in high places should set the example. Recently the postal charges were increased. This week I was shown an envelope bearing the mystic lettering. “0.P.5.0.," and purporting to have been issued from the office of “The Minister of The envelope also was franked —thus avoiding the payment of postage. The envelope contained a subscription forwarded by the wife of a Minister of the Crown to an institution to which she belongs. The institution has nothing whatever to. do with public . business. Sir, I consider this a very serious abuse of privilege. If the Postal Department really is in need of more revenue, here is one avenue which it can legitimately exploit to •btain it —I am, etc..
