43 HOURS IN WATER
Miss Gleitze Breaks Record By Telegranh—Press Association Christchurch, March 13. Mercedes Gleitze at half-past ten to-night completed 43} hours’ continuous swimming in the Christchurch tepid baths. She beat her own previous record of 43 hours. Miss Gleitze was almost overcome with sleepiness early in the day. but did not seem unduly fatigued or distressed when lifted out of the baths to-night. ■
