FOUR MINERS KILLED
Tragic Colliery Explosion BODY HURLED 100 FEET (Rec. March 13, 9 pan.) Launceston, March 13. A terrific explosion occurred at the Seymour Company’s colliery on the East Coast of Tasmania. Four employees were killed. The victims are: J. Davis, aged 22, married; R. Skeggs, aged 38, married; A. Harsvy, aged 42, married; A Cooper, aged 23, unmarried. An office twenty yards away was wrecked, and considerable damage was done to other buildings. Harsvy was hurled 100 feet.
