Bright Sunshine, Light Breeze It was a perfect autumn day in Wellington yesterday, bright, warm sunshine, with a light northerly breeze. Ideal summer weather prevailed at Auckland yesterday, the wind being light and variable. A rising barometer registered 30.40 in. The weather at Christchurch was sunny, with a light to fresh breeze from the north-east. The maximum temperature was 66 degrees. The barometer was falling slowly, the reading last evening being 30.20. The weather in Dunedin was fine and pleasant, with bright sunshine and a light wind from the north-east. The maximum temperature was 65 degrees. The barometer fell during the day, and last evening registered 30.10 i.
