DANCE AT SYDNEY
An entertainment was held in Sydney at the Wentworth on the evening of March 7 to raise funds for the assistance of sufferers in the New Zealand earthquake. Mrs. Maclurcan organised the entertainment and defrayed all the costs,'so that the entire proceeds were given to the Lord Mayor’s relief fund. Dancing, bridge, and miniature golf was included on the evening's programme. Mrs. S. Hempton, president of the New Zealand Women’s _ Association, was elected president of the committee, Sister M. L. Macdonald honorary treasurer, . and Miss H. Moran honorary secretary. The members of the association gave their support to the entertainment, ancT there was a largo attendance of other sympathisers.
