An invitation has been extended to the Mayor of Petone and councillors to attend a special Day of Prayer service at St. Augustine’s Church, Petone. The service will have special reference to the problem of unemployment. The lessons will be read by Mr. Walter Nash, M.P., and Mr. J. C. Burns, a member of the borough council. A COLD SEASON.
