Saturday Night’s Contests Special arrangements ha . ve .. b (l ee ?- ilb I ? for an overseas night at the KUbiruic Stadium on Saturday, when the Ity will be afforded of seeing in action six of the most spectacular and da.lng riders who have visited New Among the viistors will be Squib Lur ton. who has been breaking records on numerous tracks, and who is keen to establish figures at Kilblrnle. Burton will be given a special opportunity of setting up a new record on Saturday; in fact, during the evening he will have several chances of adding to his reputation as a maker and breaker nf records. Another nhtcu rider will be Charlie Spinks, the brilliant Australian broadsider, who at Auckland last Saturday pressed Burton to a very close finish in a record-breaking race. Other visitors taking part will be Perkins, E. Whittle, and H. Stevens, of Australia, and G. Greenwood, of England. With all these as well as local riders taking part, the meeting should lack nothing in the way of spectacle, and from the visitors there should be some extraordinarily good performances.
