ADDITIONAL YEAR
Junior Free Places EXTENSION GRANTED Special Circumstances The Minister of Education, Hon. H. Atmore, recognising that boys and girls are, in the present economic conditions, finding unusual difficulty in securing employment on leaving school, has decided, as a temporary measure, to extend for an additional year the junior free places of those pupils in secondary schools, district high schools, and technical high and technical day schools who failed at the end of 1930 to secure a senior free place either by recommendation or by examination.
