Commission of the Peace MANY WOMEN CHOSEN k District Appointments New appointments to the Commission of the Peace were announced last evening by the Minister of Justice, Hon. J. G. Cobbe. Included in the total of 217 justices appointed are 33 women. Mrs. R. L. Kane and Mrs. P. Myers are the Wei--lington women appointed. The names of the justices appointed in the Wellington, Manawatu, Nelson, Marlborough, Taranaki, Rangitikei, Hawke's Bay, and East Coast districts are as follow: —
