THE CINEMA DRESS
The cinema dress is the name given to an'afternoon dress which, by the setting aside of one garment, becomes a little ‘dinner dress with, low neck and no sleeves. . , . . This so-called cinema dress is the sort of ensemble which -Is worn for a tea party or cocktail party, from which the guests may go on to a little dinner party, to be followed by a cinema or theatre. . , . One of the most charming examples of it is in wine red georgette, a long slim sleevelets dress, with which is worn a short-to-the-waist jacket. The neck of this packet Is draped with a long slender, scfirii which ifc wound about the throat and shoulders and left to hang gracefully down thb front or back.
