’ WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL. NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER. •XTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that -1A at a Special Meeting of the Wellington City Council held on Thursday, January 29, 1931, the following resolution was passed:—That the Wellington City Council pursuant to the provisions, of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the Tramways Act, 1908, and their respective Amendments, and in pursuance of the Order-in-Council dated the 22nd day of December, 1930, gazetted in the New Zealand Gazette, Number 90, of the 23rd day of December, 1930, at page 3899, and in pursuance and exercise of every other Act and authority in that behalf it enabling, doth hereby resolve by way of Special Order as follows: (1) That a Special Loan of Seventy-two thousand two hundred pounds (£72,200) to be known as “The Wellington City ElectricPower, Tramways and City Works 1906 Repayment Loan. 1931,” be raised by the Wellington City Council for the purpose of providing funds for redeeming the outstanding liability in respect of a Loan of One hundred and twenty-four thousand two hundred pounds (£124,200), maturing on the Thirty-first day of July, 1931. (2) That the rate of interest on the said Loan be not exceeding Five pounds ten shillings (£5/10/-) per centum per , annum, payable half-yearly on the. Thirtyfirst day of January and the Thirty-first day of July in each year during the currency of the Loan, being a period of Ten (10) years from the Thirty-first dayof July, 1931. (3) That a sinking fund of Three pounds three shillings (£3/3/;) per centum per annum be established in ..connection with the said Loan. (4) That the security for the interest, sinking fund and other charges and repayment of the said Loan be a special rate of fifteen two-hundredths of a penny (15-200 d. in the pound on the unimproved value of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington. AND NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the resolution will be submitted for confirmation at an Ordinary Meeting of the Wellington City Council to be held on Thursday February 26. 1931, at the Coiincil Chamber.
