Mr. Donald Ross, Rapanui, and Mr. Ford, Kaiwaike, are motoring in the north. Captain Wright is now attached to the staff at “Flock House,” Pararoanui, in place of Mr. V. French, who has gone to Christchurch. Mr. A. J. Shaw, the New Zealand golf champion, will take up residence in Wanganui on March 1. Mr. A. McDonnell, of Auckland, who has been staying with Mrs. W. McDonnell, Putiki, Wanganui, has returned to Auckland. COLD EVENINGS.
