LOWER HUTT W.C.T.U.
' The monthly meeting of the Lower Hutt W.C.T.U.-was held on Wednesday. Mrs. Routley, vice-president, was in the chair, and Mrs. Spencer took the devotional portion of the meeting. Apologies were received from several members, who were unable to be present. A brief report from the Hutt delegate to the Council of Women was given. Arrangements were made for the Cradle Roll afternoon, Mrs. Bayley offering her home and grounds for the occasion. An assistant to help Mrs. Heyes with her Cradle Roll work was appointed. The election of a president was held over till the next meeting.
Afternoon tea brought the meeting to a close.
