TRANSFORMER ON FIRE
Damage in Power Board Store
By Telegraph—Press Association. Te Awamutu, January 27. Fire broke out in the store of the Te Awamutu Electric Power Board at 7.30 p.m. to-day. Dense volumes of smoke were sent up with surprising suddenness. The brigade quickly suppressed the outbreak, which was found in a transformer which was being tried out. Minor damage was done to the building and by water to bulk materials in the store.
