Manawatu residents will have an opportunity of seeing two of the world’s best; 'speedway riders in action •ou the- Show Grounds, Palmerston North, on Wednesday night. . “Squib” Burton, of England, who has broken track records in Auckland, Christchurch and Dunedin, will appear in the Handicap Race, and also the Flying Nine, from rolling starts. George Greenwood, the Wembley (London) star, will, also take part at-the meeting, and ■these two dashing riders will be competing against a contingent of Wellington and local broadslders. .
