Wanganui. January 26.
The Native Land Court will open in Wanganui on February, 4. Judge Browne will preside. The Wanganui Horticultural Society will hold Its annual meeting next Tuesday night. The society reports a most successful year, with every prospect for continued success next year. '’/•■.The Wanganui Gun IClub, after being on .Messrs. Paul's property at Wanganui East for many years, has moved; its targets Tand ; sheds to Gonville,. as the land is no longer available. The new location is in ' itlmu Street, on Messrs. C. and A. Smith’s property. The Wanganui Athletic Club will send ‘a small team to'New Plymouth next Saturday'to compete at the Wanganui-Taranaki ■Centre championships. The team will In.."elude Don. Evans, who is to run in the ,440yds., 880yds., and mile events.
