LODGE MEETINGS

Manchester Unity An enjoyable meeting of the Rose of the Valley Lodge, Manchester Unitey, was held in the lodge room recently. Brother Kells, N.G., presided. After the correspondence had been dealt with, the officers initiated a friend into the Order, the Odes being sung. The nomination of officers took place for the district conference. At the election of delegates, Brothers Norris and Tate, P.G.’s -were elected to represent the lodge. At the last fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Britannia Lodge, Manchester Unity, Brother J. G. Harper, N.G., presided. Nominations were sent forward for the district oflices. Brother Turner, P.D.G.M., presented Brother J. L. Mac Duff with a P.G.’s collar, on behalf of tile lodge. One candidate was initiated, and lodge honours were accorded two visiting brethren, who suitably replied. The meeting concluded with supper and a game of 500 for the Perrin Pins.
