LATE MR. W. GRAY

Funeral Service The funeral of Mr. Walter Gray, the second victim of the Oriental Bay fire, took place at the crematorium on Tuesday. The service was conducted by the Rev. Howie, of St. Andrew’s Church, assisted by Brigadier Newbold, uncle of Mr. Gray’s widow. Mr. Gray was n member of the Commonwealth Institute of Accountants, and much admired by his friends, and among those who attended to nay their last respeets were Mr. D. G. Johnston, secretary of the N.Z. Society of Accountants; Mr R. A. Glen, of Messrs. Rowley, Gill. Hobbs and Glen : Brigadier Green. Lieu-tenant-Colonel Kirk. Lieutenant-Colonel Hamilton. Major Hildritb. Mr. W. C. Kellow. of the Gear Moat Co.: Mr. Albert Cook. Mr. W. Wilcox. Mr. R. I. M. Sutherland. and Mr. A. Waterworth. The pallbearers were Messrs. J. Lang. R. Moore. J. F. Wallis. H. Sullivan, H. Jansen, and Captain Hopkins.
