The concluding matches in the international billiards tournament have begun. If Davis beats Newman, he will win outright; If Lindrum and Newman win there will be a triple tie, necessitating a play-off. McConachy, receiving 7000, is playing Lindrum in London. The scores are: — McConachy, 9164. including breaks of 306, 273, 374, 217. 531 and 341; Lindrum, 10S1, including a break of 673. At snooker, Lindrum has scored 167, and McConachy 69. Davis is playing Newman at Plymouth. Davis, who receives 7000. has scored 8777, including breaks of 405, 355, 350 and 201 unfinished; Newman, who receives 7000. has made 8434,. including breaks of 216, 247, 37-2, and 267.
