At a recent exhibition at Cleveland, coins were showed bearing a high degree of artistic skill possessed by the sculptors of 2000 years ago. Records of financial transactions dating back 40 to .50 centuries, are seen on the Babylonian tablets. One of these is a tax receipt: another refers to “three fat sheep,” and a third to “two measures of mutton fat.
