Expedition to Guiana
OBSERVERS IN TREE-TOPS

British Wireles* Rugby, December 6. The report of the Oxford University’s Exploration Club’s expedition for the investigation of the flora and fauna of the tropical forests of British Guiana states that the party was in the bush for four months, and secured more new specimens than any previous expedition. The bird observers had posts in treetops 126 feet high, and the entymologists had platforms 135 feet high. The collection brought back includes more than 10,000 insects, 500 miscellaneous invertebrates, 87 mammals, and over 200 reptiles and birds.
